Dec 27, 2006

Check out the latest and greatest happenings in the wide world of games.

Super Saiyans are invading the Game Boy Advance. Infogrames has announced that it's working on The Legacy of Goku for the Final Fantasy XI. They're not sticking to just the Playstation. They're planning to make a version for the Xbox and the GameCube as well. They're going to take the game online and let everybody who has a console, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, whatever, play their game. Sounds like a plan, but what about if you're on a Dreamcast?

Speaking of the Sega Dreamcast, they're already a step ahead of Final Fantasy XI. Phantasy Star Online has been letting people play together across the net for a long time and now the info on Phantasy Star 2 is up. On Sept. 11th the new version will be shipped out and everybody can check it out. It'll have new options, extra stuff and a charge to play. $15 per three months. You can still play the original for free and a limited version of two but it'll take some cash to go the whole way.
