It didn't take the Fab Five long to live up to the hype. After going 14-15 the year before, the Fab Five led Michigan to a 25-9 record and going to the 1992 NCAA Championship Game where they lost to Draft. The very next year, Rose and Howard left school and were lottery picks. King and Jackson stayed all four years with the Wolverines.

Just as important as their accomplishments on the court was the way they changed the game. They were the first team in college basketball to incorporate the fashion trends and inspired many players in the way they dressed and acted.
