The response to your song, God Bless The USA, has been really great. What was it like to visit and perform at The White House? 5m6n3j
Jump5: It was the most memorable night of our lives so far. We met President Bush and his wife and they were pretty amazing. They're humble and welcoming. What inspired each of you to become singers? 6y5n5b
Libby: My mom did, she is a singer. When I was young I would go to the studio with her. I started right after I began to talk and basically learned to sing from her.Lesley: I started dancing when I was four. Brittany was in my dance group and there were some older kids, I really looked up to them. I wanted to sing like they did so I started taking vocal lessons.
Brittany: I wanted to sing when I was dancing and I would always sing. My mom thought I should learn the correct way to sing so she put me in vocal lessons.
Brandon: I started singing because of Brit (his sister.) I would have to wait with mom when she took her lessons, so I figured I might as well take some lessons too and not just sit in the waiting area.
Chris: There were always shows at my school and they would ask us to sing, so I got into that. And I had other influences, older kids, that helped me get into it.
Dreamstreet are all guys but they have similar music and dance a lot on stage. We just finished a tour with them.

Aside from being musicians, part of your goal is to be role models for kidz. What issues do you think kidz are faced with today? 1p6o3n
Libby: Peer pressure. We aren't in public or private schools right now but it's something we had to deal with. We want everybody to know that they can be themselves.Lesley: The ways you're supposed to dress. We want to be clean cut and dress the way we want to dress, not sexy and stuff. Some people feel they can't dress the way they want.
Brittany: At my old school, trying to follow the popular kids was a problem. You don't always have to do that. You can try to be yourself.
Chris: I think that one of biggest problems with kids is being pressured into being something you're not.
Lesley: I went to public school and a lot of people are pressured to have sex. It is a problem with kids.
