Many of you may not have seen The King’s Speech. But the reviews were excellent! Colin Firth portrayed a king who had to overcome a speech impediment, or a stutter, in order to make a very important speech.

Gorgeous girl-next-door Natalie Portman was the favorite to win. And win it she did, for her haunting role as a ballerina in the psychological thriller, Black Swan.

With only three movies nominated in this category, it was a no-brainer that Guardians of Ga’Hoole.

This category is another no-brainer! From the amazing special effects to the colourful sets and costumes, Alice in Wonderland was definitely a work of art!

For those of you who didn’t see The Social Network, the film was all about the creation of Facebook. There was a lot of drama and betrayal that went along with this true story. And even though the film isn’t climactic, it’s worth seeing.
