The film takes place ten years after high school graduation and Veronica has turned legitimate and is about to sign on as an in-house investigator at an NYC law firm - but although she's long-since kicked the Neptune dust off her Navy, asks her to put her private eye mind when his pop star wife (and former Veronica's former classmate) is found electrocuted in a bathtub. Veronica finds herself unable to stay away from one last chance to solve the case in her hometown and salvage Logan's reputation.
