Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 New Character Details g673e

Announced during the Game Awards last year, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is now available and along with having the most characters to date, more are on the way after launch. San Diego Comic-Con, the yearly celebration of all things comics, movies and entertainment always brings a ton of exciting news, and Marvel is bringing the thunder for the new game.

Ultimate Alliance 3 prominently features of the X-Men for the first time in a while for a Marvel game. Suspiciously, the X-Men were absent from games like Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, but they’re back in full force in Ultimate Alliance 3. Favorites Wolverine and Nightcrawler are playable in the game from day one, but on August 30^th, Scott Summers AKA Cyclops and Piotr "Peter" Nikolaievitch Rasputin (try saying that five times fast) AKA the mighty Colossus are ing the fight against Thanos all for free. The X-Men are also getting a full fledged expansion that will bring new of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.

For every group of heroes like The Avengers, The Guardians of the Galaxy, and The ever growing Spider-Verse, some are more well known for working alone and in the shadows. That’s where the Knights of Marvel come in, heroes that walk a bit of a darker path than most. The first is Blade, a trained vampire hunter with vampire powers of his own. Moon Knight is a soldier turned hero cloaked in a silver shroud that all criminals fear, think Marvel’s version of Batman. Frank Castle AKA The Punisher lost his family in a tragedy, and ever since swore an oath to try and get back at the people who wronged him. Last but not least is Morbius the Living Vampire. Morbius started out as one of the many villains in Spider-Man’s gallery of baddies, this biologist turned “sort of” vampire is one of the many scarier villains that Peter Parker has faced throughout the years but in the game, Morbius is going to help in the heroes’ fight against Thanos. These characters will be the first bunch added to the game after Cyclops and Colossus as part of the expansion .

After the X-Men expansion later this year, a whole new story starring the Fantastic Four will arrive next year in 2020 that will no doubt add all four and hopefully a showdown with their famous arch nemesis Marvel’s Avengers launches). Although the more colorful art style, larger cast of characters and explosive action make this game one to keep an eye on on it’s own too.
