Just so you know, a Shiny Pokemon is just like any other Pokemon. The difference is that a Shiny Pokemon is a different color and sparkles at the start of combat. The problem with catching Shiny Pokemon is that there's no trick to it, they just show up randomly. Each time you battle a wild Pokemon, there's a 1-in-8,192 chance that it will be a Shiny Pokemon.
