Aquamarine is a great flick to check out with the girls, but there are some things that hold it back from being a total hit. For instance, why when Aquamarine is a mermaid is she not wearing a top? Sure, her hair covers all the bits that should be covered up, but shouldn't a teenage girl at least be sporting being girly and not sexy (which is a great message) but then Aqua is giving off this strangely sexual vibe when she's a mermaid.
